DISILLUSION is a visual representation of the disillusionment that vigorously confronts Millennials daily. As a generation in western society, Millennials have been forced to recognize that our society is imploding due to reasons such as end-stage capitalism, genocides, and the climate crisis. The reality faced is a far cry from the tall tale of idealistic meritocracy that Millennials were sold as children. DALLE-2 was used to create the original image and a combination of inpainting and outpainting was used to further expand and refine the original prompt.
